In partnership with 1st Source Bank and the North Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC), the program offers financial solutions and business coaching to help entrepreneurs refine their strategies and strengthen operations. Eligibility criteria include operating within South Bend and having revenues of less than $300,000 in the prior year.
Momentum Entrepreneurship Hub
Located at 510 South Main Street, Momentum Entrepreneurship Hub offers a dynamic environment for entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators. The hub provides flexible workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms, and a podcast studio, all designed to support business growth. Members benefit from amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, a coffee bar, printing services, and access to a gym, fostering a collaborative and productive atmosphere.
South Bend Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program (SBEAP)
Coordinated by the McKenna Center for Human Development and Global Business at the University of Notre Dame, SBEAP is an 11-month intervention program launched in 2019. It supports individuals facing economic hardships who aspire to start or grow their businesses. The program includes training, mentoring, student consulting, community connection events, microcredit, and ongoing research, aiming to empower entrepreneurs to overcome adversity and achieve success.
Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Indiana University South Bend
The Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Indiana University South Bend serves as a launchpad for students and community members to develop innovative solutions and ventures. CIE offers workshops, mentorship, and collaborative spaces to help individuals identify problems worth solving, design human-centered solutions, and build impactful ventures. Programs include pitch competitions, student clubs, ambassador programs, and certificate courses, all aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
